The Division of Life Sciences, Rutgers, The State University, Piscataway/New Brunswick campus, has an opening for an annually renewable, non-tenure track Assistant Teaching Professor position starting in the Fall 2025 semester. Primary teaching responsibility will be in Systems Physiology, a large upper-level undergraduate course. Other teaching responsibilities may include courses for non-science majors and/or upper-level Cell Biology & Neuroscience electives.
Minimum Education and Experience: A Ph.D. in a relevant life sciences discipline and experience teaching at a university level are required. Experience teaching with a class size greater than 250 students and experience in the implementation of active learning pedagogy is preferred.
