Kamloops is known for its friendly community, safety, affordability, outdoor activities across four seasons, sporting events, and cultural richness. It is conveniently located 3.5 hours from Vancouver by car or a 45-minute flight.

Thompson Rivers University (TRU) provides students with small class sizes, opportunities for undergraduate research, and a centrally located campus. With over 26,000 students studying on campus and online, including 10% Indigenous and over 30% international students, TRU fosters a diverse academic community.

TRU and the School of Nursing prioritize equity, diversity, and inclusivity, aligning with the national Truth and Reconciliation Commission's calls to action. The university is experiencing growth with a new Nursing and Population Health building featuring advanced simulation labs. We are seeking dynamic team players to meet healthcare education needs. The School of Nursing offers programs including MN & MN-NP, BScN, PN (Williams Lake only), and HCA.

The School of Nursing's MN-NP program invites applications for a Nurse Practitioner bipartite tenure-track position, starting around April 1, 2025, or as negotiated.
