Job summary

Dollarama in Pincher Creek, Alberta is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in daily retail operations, drive sales, and ensure customer satisfaction.

You will lead a frontline team, help with merchandising, training, and performance evaluations while acting as Manager on Duty in the Store Manager’s absence. This role offers growth within a dynamic, customer-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of retail experience.
• At least two years in a supervisory or management role.
• Open availability (day, evening, weekend).

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager with daily operations and staff oversight.
• Assist with merchandising, stocking, and shipments.
• Provide exceptional customer service and resolve issues.
• Train, coach, and develop employees.
• Perform cash management and store openings/closes as needed.
• Ensure safety, cleanliness, and compliance with policies.
