Mind Games in Dartmouth, NS is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help lead our Mic Mac Mall store and support daily operations. You will assist the Store Manager with sales coaching, scheduling, merchandising, inventory, and customer service to deliver an outstanding shopping experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2+ years of management or supervisory experience in specialty retail.

Responsibilities

• Support daily store operations by scheduling, assigning, and following up on employee tasks.
• Assist with recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training team members.
• Coach, mentor, and develop employees to reach their full potential.
• Assist Store Manager in addressing performance issues.
• Monitor expenditures and results to support corrective action.
• Build strong customer relationships and provide exceptional service.
• Support promotions, displays, and store performance analysis.
• Oversee inventory management, receiving shipments, and store presentation.
• Handle opening/closing, cash handling, and POS operations.
• Assist with scheduling and supervision of staff.
