Activate Games in Halifax, Nova Scotia, is hiring a part-time Game Facilitator to guide players, support gameplay, and keep the store running at peak performance. The role suits someone energetic, social, and ready to jump into action in a fast-paced environment.

The position is part-time and permanent at our Dartmouth Crossing location (72 Finnian Row, Dartmouth). Evening, weekend, and holiday availability is required. A strong customer-service mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, CAEC, GED, or equivalent, and/or 1 year of customer service experience is considered an asset.
• Must be flexible and available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Strong communication skills, multi-tasking, and time management skills
• Must be a people person - energetic, friendly and outgoing, with the ability to command attention in a crowd of people
• Must be willing to work various shifts starting as early as 8 am and ending as late as 1 am (leaders will work within given availability)

Responsabilités

• Game Facilitation: Be professional in thought, language, and action; provide a great experience; brief groups; observe gameplay; assist customers; resolve malfunctions with leader support; maintain a clean work environment.
• Check-In Facilitation: Warmly greet customers; verify appointment times; handle transactions; issue receipts and wristbands; answer inquiries.
• Facility Maintenance: Clean facility and washrooms; paint as needed; check inventory; reset and disinfect wristbands; clean lockers; notify leader of issues; perform simple repairs.
