Job summary

Red Apple Stores ULC in New Hazelton, BC is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help run daily operations, assist the Store Manager, and ensure a welcoming, customer-focused shopping environment. The role requires strong service skills and the ability to lead a small team during busy periods.

Ideal candidates have 2-3 years in retail, are dependable, and can manage inventory, scheduling, and store presentation while delivering excellent customer experiences.

Qualifications

• General experience in retail for 2-3 years.

• Availability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store.
• Supervise the store and lead the team in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Maintain and delegate daily tasks and updates using the Store Tour Book.
• Order, receive and stock merchandise.
• Set up windows and in-store displays and signage.
• Complete timely and accurate inventory cycle counts.
• Process product returns, price changes and markdowns.
• Provide excellent customer service at the register and elsewhere.
• Recruit, train and schedule Associates & Keyholders.
• Submit reports and payroll to Home Office.
• Assist the Store Manager with store paperwork, emails and other projects.

The Assistant Store Manager strives to make our stores a great place to shop for our Customers. We rely on you to provide super-friendly service, maintain a clean and customer-friendly environment, merchandise the store and support the Store Manager in leading the team.
