Job summary

Red Apple Stores Inc. in Prince Rupert, BC, is recruiting an Assistant Store Manager to help lead daily operations, supervise the team, and ensure friendly, efficient service for every customer.

You will open and close the store, stock merchandise, conduct inventories, recruit/train Associates, handle reports, and support the Store Manager while maintaining clean, welcoming displays and a positive shopping environment.

Qualifications

• General retail experience of 2–3 years.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Able to handle a fast-paced, multi-task environment.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Availability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store.
• Supervise the store and lead the team in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Maintain and delegate daily tasks and updates using the Store Tour Book.
• Order, receive and stock merchandise.
• Set up windows and in-store displays and signage.
• Complete timely and accurate inventory cycle counts.
• Process product returns, price changes and mark downs.
• Provide excellent Customer Service at the register and otherwise.
• Recruit, train and schedule Associates & Keyholders.
• Submit reports and Payroll to Home Office.
• Assist the Store Manager with store paperwork, emails and other projects.
