Job summary

Red Apple Stores ULC in Prince Rupert, BC is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead the team and ensure a welcoming shopping environment.

You will open and close the store, supervise staff, stock merchandise, and support the Store Manager with reports and scheduling. The role requires evening/weekend availability and pays $19.50 CAD per hour.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of general retail experience.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-task environment.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Availability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store.
• Supervise the store and lead the team in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Maintain and delegate daily tasks and updates using the Store Tour Book.
• Order, receive and stock merchandise.
• Set up windows and in-store displays and signage.
• Complete timely and accurate inventory cycle counts.
• Process product returns, price changes and markdowns.
• Provide excellent customer service at the register and elsewhere.
• Recruit, train and schedule associates and keyholders.
• Submit reports and payroll to Home Office.
• Assist the Store Manager with store paperwork, emails and other projects.

We are currently recruiting for an Assistant Store Manager in our Prince Rupert, BC location.

The Assistant Store Manager strives to make our stores a great place to shop for our Customers. We rely on you to provide super-friendly service, maintain a clean and customer-friendly environment, merchandise the store and support the Store Manager in leading the team.

• General experience in retail for 2-3 years

• Effective organizational and time management skills
• Availability to work evenings and weekends

Pay: $19.50/hour
