Job summary

Dollarama in Maniwaki, QC seeks an Assistant Store Manager to support daily retail operations, drive customer satisfaction, and help achieve sales targets. This role acts as Manager on Duty in the Store Manager's absence and collaborates with the leadership team.

You will assist with staffing, merchandising, training, and coaching, ensure cash handling and safety standards, and maintain visual standards. Open availability and strong leadership are essential to succeed in this fast-paced

Qualifications

• 2+ years of retail experience.
• 2+ years in a supervisory or management role.
• Open availability (day, evening, weekend).
• Strong leadership, communication, and decision‑making skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast‑paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assisting the Store Manager with operations and staff management.
• Helping with merchandising, stocking, and unpacking daily shipments.
• Providing exceptional customer service and resolving escalated issues.

• Performing cash management, store opening and closing duties as needed.

• Conducting regular performance evaluations and providing feedback.
