Dollarama in Brampton is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in overseeing daily retail operations, drive customer satisfaction, and achieve sales goals. This role requires hands-on leadership, staff coaching, and efficient merchandise handling, with responsibilities including opening/closing, safety, and cleanliness.

Open availability and strong decision-making are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of retail experience.
• At least two years in a supervisory or management role.
• Open availability (day, evening, weekend).
• Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assisting the Store Manager with operations and staff management.
• Helping with merchandising, stocking, and unpacking daily shipments.
• Providing exceptional customer service and resolving escalated issues.
• Training, coaching, and developing employees.
• Performing cash management, store opening and closing duties as needed.
• Assigning tasks to the team and ensuring store safety and cleanliness.
• Conducting regular performance evaluations and providing feedback.
• Ensuring adherence to company policies and safety standards.
