Job summary

Chatters Limited Partnership in Hamilton, Ontario is seeking an Assistant Store Manager at the Limeridge Mall location to lead daily retail and salon operations and ensure a welcoming experience for customers. You will coach the team, manage scheduling, and uphold Chatters’ standards.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of retail leadership experience, a passion for beauty, strong communication, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of retail leadership experience.
• Passion for beauty and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
• Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills.

• Comfort using POS systems and basic computer programs.
• Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Support daily retail and salon operations to ensure a smooth, welcoming experience
• Lead by example, coaching and motivating team members to achieve sales and service goals
• Build strong relationships with customers, creating loyalty through consistent and memorable experiences
• Assist with scheduling, payroll, inventory management, and customerappointment bookings
• Maintain a clean, well-stocked, and beautifully merchandised salon that meets Chatters’ standards
• Share product knowledge and support training, onboarding, and development of team members
• Step in as a leader when needed, solving problems and making decisions that positively impact customersand the team
