Job summary

Kibbi is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support daily retail operations under the Store Manager, ensuring customer satisfaction and hitting sales goals in our Canadian store. You will act as Manager on Duty in the manager's absence and lead a team across service, merchandising, and operations.

With 2+ years in retail and supervisory experience, you will coach staff, manage cash and opening/closing duties, maintain visual standards, and help hire and evaluate performance while delivering

Qualifications

• Minimum of two (2) years of retail experience.
• At least two (2) years in a supervisory or management role.
• Open availability (day, evening, weekend).
• Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager with daily operations and staff management.
• Support merchandising, stocking and daily shipments.
• Provide exceptional customer service and resolve escalated issues.
• Train, coach and develop employees.
• Perform cash handling and opening/closing duties as needed.
• Assign tasks and ensure store safety and cleanliness.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards.
• Assist in hiring and performance management.

The Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager in overseeing daily retail operations, ensuring customer satisfaction, and achieving sales goals. Acts as Manager on Duty in the Store Manager's absence.

Daily Tasks (but not limited to)

• Assisting the Store Manager with operations and staff management.


• Helping with merchandising, stocking, and unpacking daily shipments.


• Providing exceptional customer service and resolving escalated issues.


• Training, coaching, and developing employees.


• Performing cash management, store opening and closing duties as needed.


• Assigning tasks to the team and ensuring store safety and cleanliness.


• Conducting regular performance evaluations and providing feedback.


• Ensuring adherence to company policies and safety standards.


• Maintaining visual merchandising standards.


• Responsible for hiring and performance management.

What Do You Need to Succeed?
