Job summary

TROIKA is seeking an experienced Assistant Site Superintendent to join our Vernon-based construction team. You will support the Site Superintendent, oversee field staff, ensure safety, and maintain quality control on commercial projects.

Based in Vernon, you’ll coordinate trades, materials, and scheduling while upholding company systems and procedures. Strong communication and a proactive, hands-on approach are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Thorough understanding of construction documents and blueprints.
• Familiar with local building codes, construction methods and best practices.
• Proficiency with MS Office, Procore, Bluebeam and SiteDocs.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong communication and people skills.
• Valid BC Class 5 license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage employees, subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors.
• Keep an accurate daily log of construction and site activities.
• Supervise site operations in the absence of the Site Superintendent.
• Order materials and coordinate shipping/receiving.
• Lead toolbox talks and safety orientations with the Safety Manager.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to field staff.
• Ensure site safety and compliance with regulations.
• Assist with scheduling and project closeout inspections.
