Job summary

Dartmouth Chrysler Jeep Dodge, part of the AutoCanada network, is hiring for an Assistant Service Manager. You will optimize service department operations to boost efficiency and profitability while delivering exceptional customer satisfaction and retention.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years as an Assistant Service Manager or Senior Service Advisor, with strong communication and relationship-building skills. A valid driver’s license and legal eligibility to work in Canada are required.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as Assistant Service Manager or Senior Service Advisor (5+ years).
• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada and hold a valid driver's license.
• Must pass pre-employment background and MVR checks.
• CDK knowledge is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Maximize profitability and efficiency of the service shop.
• Assist and support Service Advisors in daily tasks.
• Maintain harmonious relationships with customers to foster loyalty.
• Handle department admin tasks as needed.

Your area of focus.

The role consists of optimizing department operations to maximize efficiency, productivity, and profitability, while ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction and retention.

What drives your day-to-day?

• Ensuring profitability of the service shop
• Assisting and support Service Advisors
• Creating and maintaining harmonious relationships with our customers to build loyalty
• Performing administrative tasks related to the department as needed

What are the must-haves…

• Previous experience as an Assistant Service Manager in a dealership setting or tenured experienced as a Senior Service Advisor (5+ years)
• Must be legally authorized to work in Canada and have a have a valid driver’s license
• Must submit to and adequately pass a pre-employment background and MVR screen prior to employment
• High school diploma or equivalent required, bachelor’s degree preferred
• Knowledge of CDK is an asset
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to construct emails and messages in a professional and inviting manner

Compensation

The expected range of total compensation for this position is $100,000 - $120,000 annually. The actual compensation offered will be based on a variety of factors, including job-related knowledge, education, skills and experience. This position will also be eligible to participate in the Company’s annual cash bonus program, subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plan documents.
