Job summary

Mercedes-Benz Langley, part of the Dilawri Group of Companies, is seeking an Assistant Service Manager to support daily service operations and ensure exceptional customer satisfaction. You will assist Service Advisors, manage appointments, and help drive efficient service processes in a dealership setting.

The role reports to the Service Manager and emphasizes collaboration with technicians and leadership to deliver top-quality service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of combined experience in an automotive service environment (e.g., Service Advisor, Technician, Shop Foreperson, or related role)
• General understanding of vehicle mechanics and service operations
• Legally entitled to work in Canada

Responsibilities

• Assist the Service Manager with the daily operations of the Service Department
• Support Service Advisors in managing customer interactions, appointments, and follow-up communication
• Assist customers with service reminders, appointment scheduling, recall notifications, and service visit follow-ups
• Help ensure high-quality service and repairs are delivered to customers
• Handle escalated customer concerns or complaints in a professional and timely manner
• Maintain accurate service records and reporting in accordance with manufacturer and dealership requirements
• Support adherence to dealership processes, standards, and operational procedures
• Work collaboratively with technicians and other departments to promote efficient workflow
• Assist with maintaining a clean, organized, and customer-focused service environment
• Contribute to continuous improvement efforts within the Service Department
• Perform other duties as assigned to support service operations

Position Overview

Mercedes-Benz Langley is currently looking to fill the positionof Assistant Service Manager. Reporting to the Service Manager, thisrole supports the day-to-day operations of the Service Department andcontributes to delivering a consistently high level of customer satisfaction.

The Assistant Service Manager plays an important role insupporting Service Advisors, assisting with operational oversight, ensuringservice processes are followed, and helping to resolve customer concerns. Thisposition works closely with customers, technicians, and dealership leadershipto support efficient service operations and a positive service experience.

The expectedannual salary for this position is$110,000.00 - $130,000.00.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
