  • Confidence making decisions and supporting the team during service
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional growth
  • Sommelier experience, WSET certification, beverage education, or experience managing beverage programs are considered assets
Corporate Culture
  • Starting salary of $55,000 annually based on approximately 10.5 months of work, including an annual winter closure

  • Extended health and dental benefits
  • Annual education funding
  • Daily family meal
  • Restaurant and room discounts
  • Family room rates
  • Longevity rewards
  • Annual team appreciation events
  • Dinner service only
  • Supportive, collaborative, and positive working environment
  • Long-term housing available with private room in a shared home

The leadership team typically works four days per week, averaging 40 to 50 hours. Summer brings full, energetic service periods, while winter offers a slower pace and the opportunity to enjoy everything the West Coast has to offer.

With three days off each week, Ucluelet provides an incredible lifestyle for those who enjoy surfing, hiking, fishing, camping, and exploring the natural beauty of Vancouver Island.
