As an Assistant Project Manager in the Civil & Infrastructure team at Pomerleau Construction, you will manage large-scale civil and infrastructure projects—ranging from $1.5 million to over $1 billion—while working closely with our client groups and subcontractors, acting as an integral part of our projects team.

What You Will Do

• Assist and guide the project team with coordination and project support.
• Review, interpret, and update construction schedules effectively.
• Maintain, review, and follow up on shop drawings, RFIs, material purchase orders, change notice quotes, and project completion documents, demonstrating strong organizational skills.
• Collect, review, and analyze project quotes, focusing on obtaining the best prices in the market.
• Lead health, safety, and environmental protection efforts on the project by applying project-specific safety standards and promoting Pomerleau’s HS&E standards, along with applicable acts, regulations, and codes.
• Support the building and maintenance of positive relationships with subtrades, clients, and project stakeholders.

This role could be for you if you have

• Approximately 3+ years of experience in the ICI construction industry.
• A University Degree or Technology Diploma in Engineering, or a combination of education and industry experience.
• Strong knowledge of construction project methodologies, financial management, building codes, and related legislation.
• A proven track record of project leadership and team collaboration.
• A passion for building and nurturing stakeholder relationships.
• Eligibility for a Government of Canada Secret level clearance.

The expected salary range for this opportunity is $84,000 - $105,000, depending on experience and location. Salaries are exclusive of bonuses and include our extensive benefits package. Benefits may vary based on the specific role.
