Job summary

IRIS SOREL is an optometry practice seeking an Optometric Assistant to join a warm, patient‑focused team in Sorel‑Tracy. You will greet customers, answer the phone, book appointments, update patient files and guide patients to the right professional.

You will perform pretest exams under supervision. This full‑time position (~35 hours/week) offers a four‑day schedule, including one evening shift until 8:00 PM, with on‑the‑job training provided.

Qualifications

• Greeting customers in a professional and courteous manner.
• Answering phone inquiries and scheduling appointments.
• Opening and updating patient files; directing to the appropriate clinician.
• Assisting with pretest exams and basic administrative tasks.
