Job summary

Vast-Auto Distribution Canada is seeking an experienced operations supervisor to coordinate store-wide activities, ensure efficient order processing, and support sales teams.

You will oversee inventory accuracy, approve timesheets, manage expenses with supervisor approval, and maintain delivery routing systems while upholding safety and customer service standards. This role offers growth within a Fortune 300 organization and a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate employees’ work and resolve issues within your scope of responsibility; escalate to your immediate supervisor any matters outside your authority or likely to have medium- or long-term impacts.
• Refer to the Account Opening procedure for all matters related to accounts receivable and customer account follow-ups.
• Approve employee timesheets.
• Authorize branch expenses when required, with approval from the immediate supervisor, when required.
• Complete the required documentation related to financing plans.
• Collaborate to maintain effective communication between the sales team and other departments within the company.
• Contribute to the ongoing correction of inventory discrepancies by completing inventory adjustment forms and submitting them to the shipping and receiving department.
• Apply and enforce health, safety, and hygiene standards in accordance with legal requirements and internal policies.
• Supervise the efficiency of order processing and sales invoicing (customer backorders).
• Oversee daily credit verification and ensure corrections are made when necessary.
• Support store operations on a daily basis.
• Maintain up-to-date delivery routing systems.
• Optimize daily operations and manage changes in assignments.
• Follow up on operational issues and required adjustments and report them to the immediate supervisor.
• Effectively resolve any issues impacting customer service, in collaboration with the immediate supervisor.
• Perform any other related tasks assigned.
