Job summary

Vast-Auto Distribution in Canada is seeking a capable operations professional to coordinate staff, oversee billing and financing documents, and maintain strong cross-department communication. You will ensure inventory accuracy, enforce safety standards, and support daily store operations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate employees’ work and resolve issues within your scope of responsibility; escalate as needed.
• Refer to the Account Opening procedure for all matters related to accounts receivable and customer account follow-ups.
• Approve employee timesheets.
• Authorize branch expenses when required, with approval from the immediate supervisor, when required.
• Complete the required documentation related to financing plans.
• Collaborate to maintain effective communication between the sales team and other departments within the company.
• Contribute to the ongoing correction of inventory discrepancies by completing inventory adjustment forms and submitting them to the shipping and receiving department.
• Apply and enforce health, safety, and hygiene standards in accordance with legal requirements and internal policies.
• Supervise the efficiency of order processing and sales invoicing (customer backorders).
• Oversee daily credit verification and ensure corrections are made when necessary.
• Support store operations on a daily basis.
• Optimize daily operations and manage changes in assignments.
• Follow up on operational issues and required adjustments and report them to the immediate supervisor.
• Effectively resolve any issues impacting customer service, in collaboration with the immediate supervisor.
• Perform any other related tasks assigned.
