Job summary
United Roofing Inc. is seeking an Assistant Metal Shop Manager to join our Calgary team.
This role involves overseeing sheet metal shop activities, CNC and brake/shear operations, and coordinating layouts for various projects from residential to commercial scales. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years as a foreman/manager in a sheet metal shop, knowledge of Panelbuilder/AutoCAD, strong Excel skills, and solid organizational and communication abilities.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Foreman or Manager for a shop/sheet metal.

Position:
We are currently looking to hire an Assistant Metal Shop Manager to join our growing team. Projects vary from residential multifamily to commercial/ industrial work. Scope of work includes architectural facades and metal roofing systems. Hours to be 10+ a day and weekends when needed.
Our Ideal candidate will be a reliable and responsible person who can work efficiently in a team atmosphere, using their knowledge and skills to achieve the task at hand. A safe professional mentality and solid work ethic are important to our company culture. Candidate must have a minimum of 5 years in a foreman or manager role for shop/sheet metal.
Key responsibilities:
- Sheet Metal Layouts (Square to rounds, Litre heads)
