Haid Roofing Ltd. is looking for experienced apprentice workers for positions in the sheet metal department. A red seal ticket is a definite asset. The job would entail roof related sheet metal fabrication and installation.

Duties

• Site Measuring, fabrication, installation of all roofing sheet metal
• Operating metalworking machines to cut, punch, drill, shape or straighten sheet metal
• Inspect products to ensure quality and conformity to specifications.
• Fabricate custom scuppers, metal flashings and other items as needed.
• Read and interpret detail drawings and specifications.
• Fabricate or alter parts at construction sites, using shears, hammers, punches, drills or other tools necessary.
• Install and use rigging and hoisting equipment

We are looking for someone who is

• Dependable and reliable
• Ability to work in a physically demanding and fast-paced environment.
• May have to deal with weight in excess of 45 kg.
• Outdoor work and subject to all weather conditions
• Must wear all necessary protective equipment
• Weekend work as needed and occasional travel required
