Responsibilities

  • Support daily operations within the long-term care setting.

Northern Health is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to join the team at Rotary Manor.

In alignment with Northern Health's vision, mission, values, and strategic priorities, the Assistant Manager plays a key leadership role in supporting the day-to-day operations of long-term care services. Working closely with the Manager, you will help ensure the delivery of high-quality care while fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

What You'll Do

As the Assistant Manager, you will:

  • Support daily operations within the long-term care setting.
  • Assist with planning, coordination, implementation, evaluation, and administration of care services.
  • Supervise and support staff while serving as a mentor, role model, and resource.
  • Provide guidance and education to residents' families.
  • Review and recommend improvements to policies, procedures, standards of care, staffing levels, and administrative systems.
  • Promote a culture of quality improvement and operational excellence.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to effectively coordinate services and resources.
Salary

$90,770 - $130,481 annually

Northern Health typically establishes salaries between the minimum and midpoint of the salary range based on qualifications, experience, and internal equity considerations.

Qualifications
  • A degree in a health-related discipline, Business, Human Resources, Disability Management, Workplace Health & Safety, Finance, or a related field.
  • Three (3) to five (5) years of recent related healthcare experience.

An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience will also be considered.
