Job summary

Pizza Garden in Burnaby, BC is seeking an Assistant Restaurant Manager to support daily restaurant operations at our Beresford Street location. The role covers planning, staffing, inventory, and ensuring quality control while delivering excellent customer service.

The successful candidate will have at least 2 years in food service or hospitality, strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced setting with high customer volume.

Responsibilities

• Assist in controlling inventory, monitor revenues and modify procedures and prices
• Resolve customer complaints and ensure health and safety regulations are followed
• Deal and schedule with suppliers for food and other supplies
• Assist in maintaining quality control standards for food preparation, presentation, and customer service

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Employment Requirements

• Completion of secondary school is required
• Minimum 2 years of experience in food service or hospitality
• Previous experience in a supervisory or team lead role in a restaurant setting is required
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with high customer volume
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to support team management and maintain operational standards
