Jay's Transportation Group Ltd. in Regina is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the Branch Manager with daily operations, supervise staff, coordinate dispatch and claims, and help drive customer satisfaction in the household moving division.

Qualifications

• Motivated, customer-focused individual with leadership potential.
• Management and sales experience an asset (training provided).
• Valid Class 5 SK driver's license.
• Basic computer and strong communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to operational needs (flexible hours and days as required).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Branch Manager with all day-to-day operations
• Lead and supervise employees, including hiring, onboarding, training, scheduling, and performance management
• Coordinate dispatch, claims, OS&D, and other operational activities
• Complete administrative duties and required reports within established deadlines
• Collaborate with the manager to ensure customer satisfaction and support new business development within the household moving division
• Promote and enforce health and safety standards while leading by example
• Ensure safe operation and maintenance of trucks and equipment in coordination with the shop
• Build and maintain community relationships to promote the companys image and corporate sponsorships
