The Skyline Group of Companies in Barrie, Ontario is hiring an Assistant Manager to move beyond entry-level retail and into a leadership track. This full-time role focuses on delivering great client experiences, coordinating front desk operations, and guiding a small team.

We offer a 6-week paid training program, starting pay of 18.25 per hour, and clear advancement opportunities within a Canadian-owned company with over 300 stores.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills in English.
• Customer service or sales experience is an asset.
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office.
• Positive attitude with strong people skills.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license are considered an asset.
• Flexibility to travel between nearby locations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Helping clients find storage solutions that fit their needs.
• Managing front desk operations, inquiries, and property tours.
• Confirming reservations and completing rental agreements; processing payments and maintaining records.
• Keeping the property clean, organized, and client ready.
• Conducting daily inspections of storage units and property.
