Overview
Northern Divine is seeking an Assistant Manager to join our team. This is a dynamic role supporting the current manager with operations planning, fish care, training, and staff management. Our team of 15-20 employees raises fish from incubating eggs, to juveniles, to spawning adults. The assistant manager is hands on with both fish care and facilities, the job is a combination of some physical work, and office tasks. Responsibilities can include leading fish spawning or moving events, caviar production, inventory management and record keeping, equipment and parts procurement, interviewing and hiring, among many others.

Requirements and Responsibilities
Previous experience in aquaculture an asset
Bachelor’s Degree in Biology, Resource management, or other related experience
Demonstrated ability to keep clean, organized records
Strong computer skills and experience with Excel and data management
Interpersonal skills and ability to work with staff
Project planning and budgeting
Strong interest in aquaculture or fisheries
Comfortable handling large fish, and working in wet outdoor environments
Physically fit, able to lift 50lbs overhead
Reliable transport to semi-remote site
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
