Job summary

Le Groupe Jean Coutu (PJC) inc. is seeking a part-time store manager to lead daily operations in Montreal. You will supervise staff, hire and evaluate performance, and ensure the store opens and closes smoothly while maintaining a strong commercial image aligned with brand standards.

The ideal candidate brings management experience, a passion for customer service, and a collaborative, autonomous approach. Flexible hours support work-life balance and retail scheduling needs.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail management or proven track record in our industry.
• Strong customer service orientation and people skills.
• Ability to train and supervise staff and plan schedules.

Responsibilities

• Ensure continuous improvement of customer service.
• Plan, distribute and supervise the work of employees under your responsibility.
• Collaborate with management on hiring, evaluations and scheduling.
• Oversee opening and closing to keep the store well run and clean.
• Contribute to maintaining a commercial image aligned with Jean Coutu Group standards.

Job description

Within your team, your essential role will be:

• to see to continuous improvement of customer service;
• plan, distribute and supervise the work to be done by employees under your responsibility;
• to carry out, in collaboration with the management team, various management tasks such as hiring, performance evaluations or planning team's schedules;
• to see to the opening and closing and to ensure that the store is well run and clean;
• to contribute, in collaboration with the management team, to maintain a commercial image that respects the Jean Coutu Group standards;
• to see to the training of employees under your responsibility.

If you don't have management experience:

• but you have a proven track record in our industry... We will train you;
• if you have experience in retail management, this is a solid asset!
