Subway Hawkesbury seeks an Assistant Manager to lead a small restaurant team. You will ensure a great guest experience, proper food preparation, and a clean, safe dining area, while managing inventory and schedules.

You’ll supervise 4-12 staff, assist in planning events and promotions, coordinate training, and handle ordering as needed. Strong communication and basic computer/POS skills are essential.

Qualificações

• Experience in a restaurant operation, preferably with supervisory experience.
• Computer knowledge or POS literacy is desirable.

As part of the Subway® Team, you as an Assistant Manager will focus on seven main things:

In addition to the role of a Shift Manager, key parts of your day to day will consist of:

• Managing a staff of 4-12 including assigning and evaluating work
• Assisting in the planning of special events and promotions in restaurant, coordinating any training needed to make events successful
• Assisting with product ordering and inventory as needed

PREREQUISITES

Education: High school diploma or equivalent

Experience: Experience in a restaurant operation, preferably with supervisory experience.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Must be an excellent communicator with the ability to deal with all levels of team members. Computer knowledge is desirable.

Physical: Ability to work any area of the restaurant as needed and to operate computerized Point of Sale system/cash register. This position requires bending, standing and walking the entire workday. Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally.
