Job summary

Tim Hortons in Guelph, Ontario is looking for a Physiotherapy Assistant (PTA) to support a Long Term Care client under Physiotherapist supervision. You will help residents implement treatment programs and work toward goal attainment in daily activities.

Duties include leading exercises, documenting progress, assisting with transfers, and applying therapies such as ice packs, ultrasound, and TENS. Relocation is not offered; vehicle access is an asset.

Qualifications

• Must be a Physiotherapy Assistant graduate or equivalent.
• Excellent multi-tasking skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
• Ability to communicate well with the elderly, supervisors, and teammates.
• Experience working in a Long Term Care or Retirement home would be an asset.
• Current police check for the Vulnerable Sector is required.
• Valid 2 STEP TB Test and/or Chest X-Ray is required.
• Access to a reliable vehicle is an asset.

Responsibilities
