Job summary

Service Corporation International is seeking a Location Manager in Hamilton, ON to assist with daily funeral home operations, drive revenue and production targets, and lead a professional team. You will work under guidance of the Location Manager and ensure exceptional client family service.

Responsibilities include managing operations, budgeting, reporting, and staff development, while handling funeral services planning and coordination with families as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Applicable state Funeral Director Licensure is required.
• Technical schooling diploma in Funeral Services/Mortuary Science, or Bachelor’s in Mortuary Science where required by law.
• At least five (5) years industry experience with increasing responsibilities
• Proficient in MS Office (mail, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and related software

Responsibilities

• Support Location Manager with daily operations and budget goals.
• Assist in planning, achieving annual sales revenue and production targets.
• Oversee staff development and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Arrange and conduct funeral services as needed with family alignment.
• Handle funeral services coordination and related contracts.
• Ensure compliance with laws and company policies.
