Job summary

Service Inspired Restaurants (SIR Corp.) seeks an Assistant Kitchen Manager in Ottawa to support the Kitchen Manager, oversee daily kitchen operations, assist with food prep, and uphold safety and cleanliness standards.

You will help train staff, refine kitchen workflows, and participate in leadership development, with 1–3 years of supervisory experience and relevant certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years kitchen management/supervisory experience in a comparable restaurant environment.
• Culinary Red Seal designation and Smart Serve Certification are strong assets.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Proficient in computer use and quick to learn new software.
• Experience with scheduling, inventory, product cost, and labor control is an asset.
