Canlan Sports Lower Mainland is seeking an Assistant General Manager for the Scotia Barn location. Reporting to the General Manager, the AGM partners to ensure the complex is run in line with the operating plan and drives continuous improvement.

The AGM provides strong day-to-day leadership across departments and steps in for the General Manager when needed. This role leads the League Manager, Youth League & Program Manager, and Event & Community Coordinator, focusing on participation,

Qualificações

• Diploma or Degree in Business, Recreation, Facility Management, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3–5 years of experience in sports facility management, incl. program marketing, food & beverage exposure, and maintenance.
• Demonstrated team leadership and development ability.
• Entrepreneurial sales and business development skills in a sports/recreational environment.
• Strong customer and client focus.
• Willingness to travel between Lower Mainland complexes as needed.

Responsabilidades

• Provide day-to-day operational leadership across the complex's departments.
• Drive program and revenue growth across leagues, youth programs, camps, and events.
• Recruit, develop, and coach a strong complex leadership team.
• Support payroll, accounts receivable, and financial reporting while ensuring safety and customer experience standards.
• Build relationships with schools, community groups, and local businesses to drive revenue.
