Job summary

Shoppers Drug Mart in Mississauga is seeking a capable leader to assist the Front Store Manager in managing resources and improving product flow from the backroom to the sales floor. You will help drive store performance and customer experience.

Collaborating with the Management Team, you will oversee labour scheduling, staffing, and ongoing staff development, while upholding Blue Culture and Core Values to motivate the team and deliver outstanding service to the community.

Qualifications

• Previous retail management experience.
• Demonstrated ability to drive the business and support corporate programs.
• Superior interpersonal, coaching and communication skills.
• Business and financial acumen.

Responsibilities

• Maintains Store Standards to optimize customer experience and profitability.
• Works with Management Team to ensure Store Standards 100% of the time.
• Assist with labour scheduling and use Work Force Management to maximize productivity.
• Ensure staffing levels are adequate to operate the business.
• Hires and supports hiring for all departments (excluding Pharmacy).
• Drove culture and engagement, leading by Core Values.
