SUMMARY:

Assist the Front Store Manager (FSM) in managing the store's human, physical, and financial resources, ensuring store objectives are met by focusing on improving product flow from the backroom to the sales floor.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

OPERATIONS:

• Maintain Store Standards to enhance customer experience, increase traffic, and improve store profitability.
• Work with the Management Team to ensure Store Standards are consistently upheld, including in the backroom.
• Assist in labour scheduling alongside the FSM, utilizing Work Force Management (WFM) to maximize productivity.
• Ensure adequate staffing levels for effective store operations.

HUMAN RESOURCES:

• Comply with Human Resources Standards.
• Assist with hiring processes in collaboration with the FSM, supporting hiring across departments excluding Pharmacy.
• Manage wage administration within SLPH guidelines.
• Promote Blue Culture, engagement, and motivate staff through our Core Values.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Strong planning, judgment, and decision-making skills.
• Experience in inventory management planning and preparation.
• Ability to use judgment to control expenses.
• Effective leadership, mentorship, and staff development skills.
• Excellent time management, organization, and planning skills.

EXPERIENCE:

• Previous retail management experience.
• Proven ability to drive business, lead by example, and support corporate programs.
• Effective collaboration with management teams.
• Superior interpersonal, coaching, and communication skills.
• Business and financial acumen.
• Ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
