2.1 Control the food and beverage operations and ensure that they are conducted in the best manner according to the principles determined by Rixos Hotels Egypt management.
2.2 Monitor food and beverage operations in line with procedures set by hotel management, set targets, communicate, and ensure adoption of these targets. Communicate the Food and Beverage Manager’s decisions to staff and ensure their proper implementation.
2.3 Manage all business and functions of the F&B Department.
2.4 Ensure the highest quality delivery of food and beverage products and services.
2.5 Control and analyze sales, costs, display quality, service standards, proper use and maintenance of equipment, customer satisfaction activities, and team relationships.
2.6 Manage recruitment, performance evaluations, leadership, disciplinary actions, and follow-up.
2.7 Prepare training programs and train department staff.
2.8 Organize meetings to gather data and achieve results.
2.9 Collaborate with department managers to ensure successful hotel operations.
2.10 Assist in updating policies related to finance, standards, training, outlets, and entertainment, and conduct promotional activities.
2.11 Seek opportunities for professional development.
2.12 Monitor and report on staff schedules and performance.
2.13 Implement employee-related decisions from management meetings.
2.14 Promote the hotel’s image through excellent service.
2.15 Oversee supervisors and staff at all levels.
2.16 Maintain good relationships with suppliers.
2.17 Resolve employee issues, foster teamwork, and inspire collaboration.
2.18 Participate in Food Safety and Management Review meetings.
2.19 Ensure activities and procurement are environmentally responsible, promote biodiversity, and minimize resource use.
2.20 Implement energy-saving measures and monitor their effects.
2.21 Properly manage waste and reduce environmental impact.
2.22 Handle chemicals safely, in accordance with laws.
2.23 Ensure compliance with quality and food safety management systems.
2.24 Perform other duties as assigned by management.
* Education: 4-year bachelor's degree
* Experience: Minimum 10 years in the industry
* Language: Proficient in English for effective communication
* Courses & Training: Relevant theoretical and practical training
* Computer Skills: MS Office applications
* Skills: Knowledge of laws and procedures, ability to manage a significant unit
