Job summary

TELUS Health Care Centres in Vancouver, BC, is seeking two part‑time Assistant Fitness & Wellness Consultants to join our multi‑disciplinary team. You will teach a variety of group exercise classes, monitor the fitness studios and wellbeing spaces, and promote health and wellbeing to client employees.

Under the direction of the Fitness & Wellness Coordinator, you will supervise the corporate fitness facility, help coordinate health promotion events, schedule classes, monitor studio usage, and

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Kinesiology, Fitness or Health promotion.
• Current certifications in group fitness, personal training and CPR/First Aid/AED.
• Spin certification is an asset.
• Energetic, confident, reliable, positive, engaging with a passion for fitness and health.
• Works well as part of a team.
• High degree of self motivation and initiative.
• Strong organization and time management skills.
• Excellent communication (both written and verbal) and customer service skills.
• Strong computer skills with ability to adapt to and learn various software applications.
• Experience in the corporate fitness & wellness field an asset.

Responsibilities
