Job summary

TELUS Health Care Centres in Vancouver is hiring two part-time Assistant Fitness & Wellness Consultants to join a multi-disciplinary team. You will supervise a corporate fitness facility, coordinate health events and lead group exercise classes while ensuring safety and engagement.

Applicants should hold a degree in Kinesiology or related field, current certifications in group fitness, CPR/First Aid/AED, and a passion for wellness.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Kinesiology, Fitness or Health promotion
• Current certifications in group fitness, personal training and CPR/First Aid/AED
• Spin certification is an asset
• Energetic, confident, reliable, positive, engaging with a passion for fitness and health
• Works well as part of a team
• High degree of self motivation and initiative
• Strong organization and time management skills
• Excellent communication (both written and verbal) and customer service skills
• Strong computer skills with ability to adapt to and learn various software applications
• Experience in the corporate fitness & wellness field an asset

Responsibilities

Under the direction of the Fitness & Wellness Coordinator, the Assistant Fitness & Wellness Consultant will be responsible for teaching a variety of group exercise classes, monitoring the fitness studios and wellbeing spaces, and promoting health and wellness to the client employees.

What you'll do
