Job summary

TELUS Health is seeking a part-time Assistant Fitness and Wellness Consultant to manage an on-site corporate wellness centre at our Downtown Vancouver location. You will deliver engaging employee wellness programs, combining facility operations with personal training, group fitness instruction and program coordination.

Working with site partners in Occupational Health and Benefits, you will develop calendars, provide lifestyle education, run classes and coordinate wellness events, while ensuring

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Kinesiology, Fitness, Health Promotion, Workplace Wellness, or a related field.
• Current group fitness instructor certification.
• Current personal training certification.
• Current CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily wellness centre operations and maintain a safe, welcoming environment for members.
• Maintain facility policies, procedures and membership protocols; update the operations manual annually and complete quarterly facility audits.
• Coordinate equipment maintenance visits and inventory; support wellness calendars and events.
• Provide fitness assessments, individual consultations and program orientations.
• Lead group fitness classes and wellness clinics; promote programs to staff.
