Hours of Operation: 12:00pm - 9:00pm EST
Pay Range: $27.00 - $29.00 CAD hourly
SDFX Studios is looking for an Assistant Editor to join the Toronto Editorial team. The candidate will report directly to the Director, Technical Operations.
As an Assistant Editor, you will work with the studio cutting room to build accurate 2D conforms for stereo timelines. Responsibilities include ensuring up-to-date stereotimelines with each turnover, running daily review sessions for Stereographers and Supervisors, overseeing quality control (QC), and performing file exports. Additional duties include:
The ideal candidate will have entry-level knowledge in editing applications (Resolve, Premiere Pro, AVID), experience working in a Windows (PC) production environment, and knowledge of stereo-related terminology (training provided if needed). Additional desired skills include:
