Our engaged community relies on us for expert-led webinars, trusted insights, and meaningful content that drives decisions. As we continue to grow, we’re seeking a full-time Life Science Content Editor & Webinar Host to join our collaborative marketing and production team.

The Role

This position is ideal for a detail-oriented science communicator with a sharp editorial eye and a confident on-air presence. You’ll help ensure our content is polished, accurate, aligned with our brand and our brand partner’s objectives — while also playing a key role in the live delivery of our industry-leading webinars.

Key Responsibilities

Content Editing & Review (approx. 80%)

  • Proofread and edit all externally facing content (webpages, press releases, emails, social media posts)
  • Ensure messaging is clear, grammatically accurate, and engaging for our professional audience
  • Verify use of appropriate links, images, and formatting
  • Guide internal teams (marketing, production) on content positioning and categorization
  • Support accurate tagging and organization of content in our on-demand library and promotions

Content Creation (approx. 10%)

  • Write original editorial content for our website or clients, focused on the pharmaceutical/biotech, medical device, healthcare, and broader life sciences industries
  • Tasks may include:
  • Writing feature articles, blogs, sponsored content and news stories
  • Pitching content ideas based on industry trends
  • Conducting interviews and research
  • Submitting content to the Editor-in-Chief
  • Serve as a confident, engaging moderator during live webinars
  • Facilitate Q&A sessions and presenter transitions
  • Full training will be provided

Ideal Candidate Profile

We're looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, detail-driven role with the versatility to switch between content creation and live webinar moderation.

Qualifications

  • Master’s or PhD in a life sciences discipline (required)
  • Proven experience in copy editing, proofreading, and fact-checking scientific content
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical or B2B media industry (preferred)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
  • A tech-savvy individual comfortable using digital tools
  • On-air confidence and the ability to work with clients and presenters in a polished, professional manner
  • A practical understanding of on-page SEO is an asset
