Job summary

Save-On-Foods in Warman, SK is hiring an Assistant Department Manager, Grocery. You will support store leadership, coach team members, and ensure exceptional customer service while maintaining store standards.

The role requires open availability and a 40-hour work week, offering growth opportunities within a community-focused retailer and a dynamic grocery environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or customer service is an asset.
• Strong customer focus and service orientation.
• Ability to coach and mentor a team.
• Excellent communication with team and customers.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

• Assisting with leading a team, acting as a coach, mentor, and resource to team members.

• Engaging and retaining team members through training and development, performance management, rewards/recognition and the identification and development of future leaders.
• Communicating important messages with the team.

You have:

• Previous retail or customer service experience (considered an asset).
• Food Safe Certification.
• A passion for great food and providing outstanding customer service.
• A strong work ethic and “let’s get it done” attitude.
• Integrity, enthusiasm, and willingness to Go the Extra Mile.
