Independent Grocers Alliance in Delson, QC is seeking an Assistant Department Manager to lead day-to-day operations in-store. You will supervise team members and ensure smooth collaboration with other departments.

We offer 40 hours per week with day and evening shifts, and opportunities for skill development within a friendly family atmosphere. A high school diploma and customer service experience are valued as you help deliver exceptional service to customers.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day management activities within your department in collaboration with the department manager.

• With the manager, manage inventories, price lists, marketing and salary productivity per standards.

What might a typical day look like?

As an assistant department manager, you will have to :

• perform day-to-day management activities within your department in collaboration with the department manager;
• provide team members with the feedback necessary for their professional development and the achievement of established objectives;
• collaborate with the production and customer service clerks; - Ensure the implementation of exceptional customer service
• in collaboration with the manager, ensure the management of inventories, price lists, marketing and salary productivity according to established standards in order to ensure business readiness;
