Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in accounting/finance/economics.
• Enrolment in CPA program preferred.
• 3+ years of accounting experience in a similar role.
• Proficiency with accounting software and MS Office applications.
• Analytical thinking and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with ability to meet deadlines.
• Self-starter with initiative and strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Perform monthly close and prepare financial statements.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Complete monthly financial projection analyses.
• Provide narrative analysis of variances to budget and forecast.
• Communicate financial information to business counterparts.
• Participate in annual budget process.
• Prepare capital purchase requests with supporting documents.
• Maintain internal controls and reporting processes.
• Coordinate and perform inventory counts.
• Train non-financial personnel on controls and procedures.
• Handle special projects as assigned.
