Job summary

Fed Finance is seeking an Assistant Controller for a company located in Candiac, QC. The role reports to the controller and involves timely closures, monthly reporting, budget monitoring, and process improvements to support internal controls.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, with CPA status either obtained or in progress, and at least 3 years of relevant accounting experience. Bilingual in French and English is required, with a flexible schedule offered.

Responsibilities

• Maintain general ledger accounts through the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual closing documents.
• Prepare the company’s monthly reports (analyses, financial statements, and environmental indicators).
• Analyze and review financial results.
• Participate in the development and monitoring of budgets.
• Contribute to the improvement of company processes, ensuring their compliance with the group’s internal control policies.
• Other related tasks.
