Job summary

Monroe Group is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to support day-to-day operations at a Project-Based Section 8 community. The role requires strong communication, multi-tasking, and a customer-service mindset, with experience in housing management and MS Office.

You will contribute to rent calculations, file maintenance, and lease enforcement while collaborating with the Community Manager and property team to ensure positive resident experiences.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent, college degree preferred.
• Minimum of one year as leasing or administrative assistant.
• Working knowledge of Yardi software.
• English language proficiency (read, speak, and write).
• Ability to pass a full background check.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of the Community Manager, complete the lease packet, calculate rent, and prepare all documents in accordance with Monroe policy and procedures.
• Maintain resident and property files and waiting lists.
• Responsible for rent collection and preparing lease enforcement notices.
• Assist with ordering supplies, processing invoices, and tracking maintenance schedules.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.
