Job summary

U-Haul International, Inc. in West Kelowna is seeking an Assistant Moving Center Manager to take on day-to-day operations and lead a service-focused team. The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, safety, and delivering an exceptional customer experience.

You will support the General Manager, participate in ongoing U-Haul education, and drive service standards while managing workload and shifts. Competitive hourly pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Driver’s license and ability to maintain a clean driving record.
• Leadership experience in any form.
• Customer service experience.
• Ability to work a variety of shifts.

Responsibilities

• Run daily operations of center in General Manager’s absence.
• Make moment-to-moment decisions to allocate time and resources to appropriate projects.
• Manage and assign your team members to ensure that customers receive an excellent first impression and the highest quality of care.
• Miscellaneous duties such as installing hitches, brake controllers, etc.
• Participate in ongoing continuous U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
