Job summary

U-Haul Company is seeking a Center Storage Manager in Kelowna, BC to oversee daily operations, lead a service-focused team, and ensure a high-quality customer experience at the storage facility. You will manage staff, allocate resources, and participate in ongoing training.

The role requires leadership and customer service experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Make moment-to-moment decisions to allocate time and resources to appropriate projects.
• Complete day to day tasks that ensure the storage facility is maintained and customers are assisted.
• Train team members so they are confident in providing U-Haul customers a stress-free storage solution.
• Manage and assign your team members to ensure that customers receive an excellent first impression and the highest quality of care.
• Participate in ongoing continuous U-Haul education through U-Haul University.

Center Storage Manager Responsibilities:

Work Environment:

The work involves moderate risks or discomforts which require special safety precautions, e.g. working around moving parts, machines, fumes or irritant chemicals. May be required to use protective clothing or gear such as masks, goggles, gloves or shields.

Physical Demands:

The work requires some physical exertion, such as, long periods both indoors and outdoors while remaining stationary, traversing spaces, repositioning to reach and use tools, and moving a minimum of 50 lbs. assisted or unassisted.
