Job summary

RBC is seeking a Branch Manager in Toronto to lead a local team, deliver exceptional client experiences, and drive growth through both in-branch and community partnerships. You will manage recruitment, staff development, and leverage digital channels to enable clients with RBC digital access.

Key requirements include mutual funds accreditation (IFIC/CSC), 3+ years in people management, and the ability to complete the CSI mutual fund branch management exam within 4 months.

Qualifications

• Mutual Funds accreditation (IFIC or CSC) is required.
• Ability to write the mutual fund branch management exam offered by CSI within 4 months of start date.
• Minimum 3 years in a people management role.
• Entrepreneurial business acquisition mindset.
• Ability to employ digital channels and drive client awareness with RBC digital access.

Responsibilities

• Inspire, orchestrate, and pioneer superior retailing excellence to deliver a memorable client experience.
• Deliver results and support new client acquisitions through multiple channels, including your own team and local partners.
• Lead change and allocate resources to meet community needs, growing sales, revenue, and market share.
• Ensure high employee engagement through recruiting, talent management, development, and career planning.
• Coach your team on client education and problem resolution, and advocate for digital enablement and multichannel usage.
• Address gaps identified through operational, credit, and compliance reviews and reports.
