Job summary

Toronto Hydro Corporation seeks an Asset Investment Analyst to provide engineering support for reliability, safety and cost-effectiveness of the distribution system. You will manage data, analyze trends, and support OTC reviews while delivering centralized reporting and data quality improvements.

The role requires an engineering background, 3+ years in data/analytical roles, and proficiency with GIS, Alteryx, SQL, and Tableau. Hybrid work with onsite days,Ontario residency preferred.

Qualifications

• Required undergraduate engineering degree; equivalent combination considered.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in data management, process optimization, and business analysis.
• Knowledge of Distribution system code, OEB regulations, and conditions of service.
• Familiarity with GIS and relational databases; ability to transform data into reports.
• Experience with Alteryx, SQL, Robotics Process Automation (RPA) and Tableau is an asset.
• Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and communication skills.
• Ability to anticipate technological trends impacting business plans.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary contact for customer connections communications and data quality programs.
• Identify gaps/trends; perform analyses and recommend solutions.
• Automate workflows using tools and systems (e.g., Alteryx).
• Enhance analytics and decision support with visualization tools (e.g., Tableau).
• Provide technical support, manage projects, and present proposals and designs.
• Profile data quality and assess risks in data integration for new apps.
• Collaborate with internal/external stakeholders on OTC reviews for expansions.
